Cowboy’s Alamo City Harley-Davidson® with Judson High School
THE CUSTOM KING
“Harley-Davidson® motorcycles have been a part of my life since I was a young kid, riding around the hill country with my parents,” Randy Pennington says. “And so when my dad handed down his 1976 shovelhead, I decided to completely tear it down and rebuild it from the ground up.”
Today Randy is manager of the service department at Cowboy’s Alamo City H-D® and crew chief for their 2019 Battle of the Kings team. His attitude toward customization is very personal. That means when you look at the team’s creation, you’re actually seeing a reflection of Randy – as well as the other members of the build team. Each brings something unique to the project, as do the student crew members from Judson High School.
“The students have been a key part of the design process,” Randy says. “They’ve help with brainstorming ideas and collectively deciding what to customize. They also helped design custom paint scheme for the bike.”
It all makes for a true team effort and a spectacular design. One that showcases the abundance of creative talent involved in the project.
