With the project supervised by Service manager Rob Vikuckis, the 2 techs to take on this build at Harley Heaven Adelaide Craig Webber and Johnno Welks the brief was simple, build a bike that stands out, handles well and makes some noise, we believe this was achieved with "Psycho" We took a 2018 Harley Davidson 1200NS Sportster as it represents outstanding value for a blank canvas for the project. In-house custom built Projector number board lights, "Screaming Eagle" orange inspired paint scheme gives it that "Psychedelic look" lifted the rear end and drop the front end to give it some more turn in while blasting through the Adelaide Hills. With the use of the Orange paint, we believe we have accented the iconic Harley V-twin pushrod engine and classic aspects of the bike. The Harley-Davidson genuine rear cafe tailpiece suits the slimline look we were after and gives it that racer look which matches up nicely with the Harley Davidson front Spoiler. To ensure the bike performs as good as it looks the team went for RSD Slant 2into one exhaust system matched up to a Harley Stage one backing plate and mapped on our in-house dyno using a Maximus tuner. We ended up with a bike that makes power all the way with no hold backs it just wants to go! Overall the bike is a work of art and little touches from the ghosted numbered side covers to the exposed front pulley I would say job well done.
